Commonwealth Fund releases report on health reform and small business

The Commonwealth Fund has released a report entitled, “Realizing Health Reform’s Potential: Small Businesses and the Affordable Care Act of 2010.” According to its analysis, as many as 16.6 million workers are in firms that will be eligible for tax credits to offset premium costs between 2010 and 2013. Over the next ten years, it estimates small businesses could receive $40 billion in federal assistance through the premium credit program.
